Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS) is a technique for removing skin cancer. MMS spares as much normal skin as possible, allowing for a superior cosmetic result. Not all skin cancer cells are visible to the naked eye, so MMS permits the surgeon to look at the margins of the skin under a microscope to ensure there is no residual skin cancer present. Dr. Kleinerman is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and member of the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS).
